With the recent outbreak of shootings that have happened on the Northside of Minneapolis, we feel it’s time to pray.
Sanctuary will be holding a prayer walk at 6:30pm on Wednesday, March 3rd. The Prayer Walk will begin at our offices and walk a few blocks to where Alisha Neeley, a 17 year old girl, was murdered Friday night, and then return back to our offices.
We will walk and pray together with representatives from Mad Dads and The Peace Foundation.
Please join us as we mourn the loss of Alisha, pray for peace in our community and encourage one another to be God’s hope and light in the midst of violence we’re currently seeing.
*Also, due to the nature of these crimes, we ask that you do not bring small children to the prayer walk. There will however, be people remaining at our offices to pray during the entire event.
