Welcome to our
Marriage Ministry!

Marriage and dating aren’t easy and we need each other on the journey. One powerful way to invest in your relationship is to join a Community Group together. This group is all about real growth and authenticity in the ups and downs of marriage/dating and life.

Consider joining this group if you and your partner are interested in growing personally and in your relationship as well as if you’re looking to create meaningful relationships with other couples at Sanctuary. Stop settling for a mediocre relationship and take the time to invest in your relationship with God and your partner.

This group meets every second Wednesday, featuring both large-group teaching and small-group connection while also providing childcare for a reasonable rate. The group will begin in a large group first for teaching and then break out into small groups to go deeper. We also have monthly fellowship events together.

Frequently Asked Questions

Sanctuary Community Groups (SCGs) are mid-size gatherings of people who share a common connection with the goal of taking biblical formation and spiritual community beyond the Sunday service to foster deeper connections and further spiritual growth in an approachable setting.
Each Community Group has a monthly Grow gathering that takes place on the same day and time every month, and features both large-group teaching and small-group connection. Some groups also provide a meal and/or childcare.

Community Groups also host one Connect or Serve event each month that is focused primarily on deeper fellowship: hanging out, playing together, eating together, serving together, and doing life alongside one another. Community Groups kick off in September, break in December for Christmas/New Years break, and then end in May.

If you’re interested in getting connected or learning more, consider joining a Community Group in the Church Center app. Joining a Group in the Church Center app is a great way to view all upcoming events for the group, communicate and stay connected with others in the group, and receive reminders about upcoming events.

Community Groups meet twice a month between September and May. Groups schedule: Fall session (Sept-Nov) and Spring Session (Jan-May).

Each group meets once per month (on the same day every month) for a “Grow gathering”, focused on biblical teaching, bible study, and/or book studies, and once for a “Connect or Serve Event”, with a focus on having fun, fellowship or serving together.

Yes! We encourage everyone at Sanctuary to join at least one community group that they plan to attend regularly throughout the year, and you can join a group at any time. You may also choose to join additional groups to stay up to date with other fellowship events of interest to you. Find and join a group in the Church Center app.

Each Community group meets once a month for their “Grow gathering” in which group members read the bible and/ore engage in theological book studies, and discuss with one another. The leaders of each group select the book, study, or focus for the year.

Childcare is available for all Community Group events that happen during Wednesdays at Sanctuary Covenant Church as well as other events on a case-by-case basis.

Events will list that childcare is available in their event description, if applicable. We do ask that families register their child/ren to participate in childcare that is offered for Formation and Community Group events, including Wednesdays @SCC.

There is a one-time cost of $80 for all children in a family ($10/month) for the full duration of the year, with scholarships available as needed.

Join one Community Group that you want to commit to attending regularly over the course of the year to allow you to get to know and develop deeper connections with others in that group. Then, you can also join additional groups that fit your interests or season of life to stay up-to-date with other groups’ upcoming events that might also interest you.If you have any questions about Community Groups or how to get connected, reach out to laura@sanctuarycov.org.
