Before moving to the Twin Cities, Casey worked with students in a church on the University of Illinois campus. He is a people person who loves encouraging people, meeting practical needs, and helping them to grow spiritually. He helps Andrea Lee, Sanctuary’s Director of Operations, with the Neighboring ministry. His primary role is helping to run Haven Pantry alongside the pantry staff and volunteers. Casey hopes that guests and volunteers there will experience warmth, generosity and kindness, whether they’re helping out or shopping. Sanctuary wants to love its neighbors well and Casey hopes to help it succeed in this goal.
When he’s not doing ministry, Casey loves spending time with his wife, Brooke and his dog, Sherlock. He loves reading, learning, watching movies & tv, listening to music and talking about these things with anyone who’s willing. He also spends his time in enjoying the culture that the Twin Cities has to offer.
