Brian Amis has a criminal justice degree from Concordia University in St. Paul and is a graduate of the police academy.
He has been teaching firearms for a number of years, most recently at Stock and Barrel and The Modern Sportsman. Brian transitioned into private security with Strong Arm Protection and spent a year working with Sanctuary as a contractor before being hired on as staff.
He is passionate about community change from within, addiction recovery and harm reduction.
Outside of work he competes in the USPSA (United States Practical Shooting Association), IDPA (International Defensive Pistol Association), Two Gun, and Trap and Skeet competitions. He has a 4 year old daughter named Kaia.
